Candidates must hold a Commercial License Helicopter and have at least 250 hours Pilot-in-Command Helicopters

Assessed as fit to hold a Category 1 Aviation Medical

| KNOWLEDGE: |
Applicants shall have completed a minimum of 25 hours of groundschool as outlined by Transport Canada
As well, successful completion of Transport Canada’s two written examinations for issue of the Instructor Rating

| EXPERIENCE: |
A minimum of 30 hours of flight training in helicopters which shall include 5 hours of training instrument
flight skills

Successful completion of a flight test to the standard outlined in the applicable Transport Canada Flight Test Guide |
